TruckDown! Wireless - 2nd Release
In order to search for vendors using a web enabled cell phone or similar wireless device we have modified www.truckdown.com to direct wireless devices to a version of our site designed specifically for wireless web browsers.
Using TruckDown Wireless - General Instructions
- Internet ready cell phones and wireless devices usually come equipped with an "Internet Browser". The browser allows access to the Internet and can "bookmark" your favorite sites.
- Open the Web Browser on your cell phone or wireless device and go to www.truckdown.com. This is often referred to as entering a URL, Go to URL or Get Link, but exactly how this action is described may vary from one to device to another. When you reach the www.truckdown.com you should see a welcome screen for a few seconds then get transferred to a screen where you can type in the State / Province to begin your search.
- Enter the first letter or the abbreviation of the State / Province and click the next button.
- Enter the first few letters or all of the city/town name nearest where you wish to locate a vendor and click the Search button.
- If the city/town name produced a list of options click on the appropriate name to advance to the services screen.
- On the services screen click on the service you are looking for to call up a list of vendors in the area and then contact the vendor of your choice.
- Turn on your browser. Usually found on the main menu.
- Navigate to www.truckdown.com. An action often referred to as entering a URL, Go to URL or Get Link.
- Use the browser Bookmark function (may also be referred to as Favorites) to bookmark the site for future reference.

From your connection attempt we may be able to determine if your specific device/browser combination is one we need to add to our network. Most major wireless browser types are now supported but there may be exceptions.
